Taking the High Road

I photographed the High Road Craft Ice Cream & Sorbet production facility in Chamblee for the Brookhaven Patch newspaper on Thursday, September 22, 2011. High Road is owned by chef Keith Schroeder and Hunter Thornton. The pair met while studying business at Kennesaw State University. The company, which opened last Halloween, has expanded to include over 50 flavors and produce around 450 gallons of ice cream a day. These are my favorite images.
