Scarecrows have invaded Alpharetta. Created by families, students and local businesses, the straw-filled creations adorn the streets through downtown during the month of October. Hundreds of people came out to celebrate the beginning of the haunted season with games, activities, food and fun. I photographed the Scarecrow Harvest Festival for the Alpharetta Convention & Visitors Bureau.
