Rick’s Pumpkin Patch

Saturday, October 20, 2012

Two Saturdays ago I hit up three pumpkin patches in the metro Atlanta area for a Three of a Kind photo feature for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. For those of you following this blog, you may have noticed that this particular Saturday was quite busy. The first one was Rick’s Pumpkin Patch, located off of Peachtree Parkway, in Duluth. Rick’s has been around for a number of years and a lot of local families come here to purchase their Halloween pumpkins. Rick’s has also grown over the years to include a bunny petting area, pony rides, inflatables and of course pumpkins. It actually struck me a little funny as I was photographing that the children roaming through the patch were more interested in the inflatables than in the pumpkins but hey what can you do.
