School Safety at Chattahoochee Elementary

Tuesday, October 9, 2012

Safety during the school day is one of the most important tasks for educators. Teachers and faculty work tirelessly to ensure that students not only learn, but also return home in one piece each day. To help with this enormous undertaking, schools have employed crossing guards as well as safety patrols, where students are given responsibilities such as hall and lunch room monitoring. As a part of a Three of a Kind photo feature for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, I was allowed to photograph the student safety patrol at Chattahoochee Elementary School in Duluth.
