Fall continues and with it marching band competition season. Sprayberry High School hosted the 29th annual Southern Invitational Music Festival featuring bands from across the state and the southeastern region who performed their halftime shows under the watchful eyes of judges. Fultondale High School from Birmingham, Alabama and Robbinsville High School from Robbinsville, North Carolina were two of 20 bands that marched onto the field to perform. I photographed the competition for a Three of a Kind photo feature for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
