The Cooler

Winter has found its way to Atlanta and with the dropping temperatures Atlantans have taken to the rinks. Ice skating is a popular winter past time and the metro area has plenty of places to strap on a pair of skates. Whether a beginner or a pro hockey player you can find a place around the city to fly, or fall, around the ice. As part of a Three of a Kind photo feature for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, I photographed skaters at The Cooler in Alpharetta. The Cooler has two rinks and has instructors that teach hockey, figure skating and the basics as well as public skating sessions.
