For the past four days I have been photographing the National LifeSmarts Championship at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in downtown Atlanta. Teams of high school students from all over the country converged to participate in the event which tested their knowledge in a fun and competitive atmosphere. Sponsored by the National Consumers League, the four day event is in its 19th year. The teams, made up of four or five students with an alternate, were tested in five categories, the environment, personal finance, health and safety, technology and consumer rights and responsibilities. Over 36 states and the District of Columbia were represented by the teams.
