Food trucks have exploded onto the Atlanta food scene recently and one of the best hands down is Viet-Nomie’s. Owned by Nomie Truong, Viet-Nomie’s brings fresh and delicious Vietnamese inspired dishes to the masses. Truong, who just started in the growing industry in March of this year, has already heralded numerous distinctions including being named one of the “10 Must Try New Food Trucks in the US” by Zagat.com. Nomie pulls up her brakes in different spots around the city and with the help of her family serves up dishes such as summer rolls, thit bo luc lac, aka shaken beef, served on jasmine rice and bun cha Hanoi (grilled pork marinated Hanoi style). I caught up with Nomie as she and her family participated in Roswell’s Alive at 5 in the historic downtown section of the city.
