Labor Day weekend marks the official end of summer and now it’s back to business as usual which is why most people head out of town or take the long weekend to relax. There’s no better place to do so than at Lake Lanier. Covering almost 58 square miles and spanning four counties, the lake offers something for everyone. Numerous parks back up to the water allowing for picnics and barbeques with beautiful views. Boat ramps allow people to dump their crafts, whether powered or not, into the water as well as numerous marinas that house some of the larger crafts. Then there are the beaches that allow families to play near the water or soak up the sun. Summer may be gone but plenty of families around the Atlanta area made memories that will last until next year.
