For the seventh week of Friday Night Lights the Lassiter Trojans took on the Walton Raiders in what is locally known as the Marietta Superbowl. Walton struck first putting up seven points against the Trojans. Lassiter struck back in the second quarter putting up seven of their own points. Walton scored another touchdown in the second, going into halftime with a seven point lead. Whatever happened in the Lassiter locker room seemed to work. The Trojan offense came out strong in the third quarter scoring two touchdowns and taking the lead away from Walton while the defense shut down the Raider offense. The fourth quarter, Lassiter put up another seven points and while Walton tried to recover scoring a touchdown of their own, the clock was against the Raiders. Lassiter defeated Walton 28-21.
