The week of Thanksgiving is historically one of the busiest times for travel for the entire year. Thousands of people take off of work to go and visit friends and family and for years Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport in Atlanta has held the moniker of World’s Busiest Airport. I had the opportunity to photograph the airport and the people coming back from vacation as they passed through. I have always thought that airports are a great place to capture people. There is a lot of emotion wrapped up into traveling. Happiness, anticipation, sadness, worry, rejoicing and hope are all emotions that can be readily seen on people’s faces as they make their way around Hartsfield.
