January 19, 2014 Atlanta – MayC Brown (left) and her partner Alice Delaney look up towards Rev. Michael A. Tanner as he speaks during the Holy Eucharist service at Holy Comforter Church in East Atlanta on Sunday, January 19, 2014. Brown and Delaney participated in a blessing of their lifelong covenant together during the service. Last year, the Atlanta Diocese began performing same sex blessings.
