January 19, 2014 Atlanta – MayC Brown (left) holds up a cup of wine for Dell Giles and her son Milam during communion at Holy Comforter Church in East Atlanta on Sunday, January 19, 2014. Brown and her partner Alice Delaney participated in a blessing of their lifelong covenant together during the service. Last year, the Atlanta Diocese began performing same sex blessings.
