Spring is almost literally here! An end to winter and cold. The beginning of growth and blossoms and gardening. March 20 marks the special day and in celebration I have been photographing different gardens around Atlanta. On Sunday I traveled to Atlanta, near Decatur, to photograph volunteers as they helped spruce up the vegetable beds at Cator Woolford Gardens at the Frazer Center. It was a warm morning with the sun shining and the temperatures starting to make it feel like winter is actually over in the South. Of course there is always a monkey wrench or two when it comes to the weather. Take for example that yesterday started out as rainy and cloudy, then moved to sunny and over 70 degrees and before 7 p.m. it was cold and cloudy again. Go figure. But don’t fret. We’re almost done with the cold and the gloom. Spring is right around the corner!
