What goes well with the weekend before St. Patrick’s Day? Why beer of course! There were many beer festivals that were held in and around Atlanta on Saturday and I got to go check out the one in Roswell. The historic Roswell Square was packed full of people as they tried all sorts of local and regional beers. The usual suspects were all there such as Red Brick and Sweetwater but there were many others, Jailhouse Brewing in Hampton, Wild Heaven Craft Beers from Avondale Estates and Cherry Street Brewing Co-Op in Cumming also made their presences felt. And what goes great with beer (besides pretzels)? Why a good game of cornhole. So what did the Roswell Beer Festival go and do? If you said create a cornhole tournament to run alongside the drinking of beer you would be correct. A lot of people had a lot of fun in Roswell for sure!
