Atlanta Beltline Trail

The sun was shining and the temperatures feeling like Spring hit the city as I walked the trail along the Atlanta Beltline. The 2.25 miles Eastside Trail is the first part of the Beltline to be opened with more coming in future years. The trail was crowded with cyclists, skateboarders, rollerbladers, couples walking and even a guy playing the violin. There are actually a bunch of these trails that wind their way through and around the city. However the Beltline is the only one that I know within the city limits of Atlanta. If you haven’t had the chance to check out the Eastside Trail I would highly recommend it. You can catch one of the entrances across from Park Tavern at Monroe Dr. and 10th Street.
