Dalton vs Johnson Boys State Championship Soccer

Saturday, May 17, 2014

It seems that the Dalton boys soccer team is starting to get a reputation. With a record of 45-0-1 they have numbers similar to the Buford Wolves football team. However there was some tension as the Class AAAA championship game’s clock ticked towards the second half. Johnson was giving Dalton a run for their money as shot after shot found the Dalton keeper’s hands. But as fate and skill would have it, a repeat of last year was in the cards and Dalton kept a 2-0 lead to hold onto their championship title. I shot a lot of soccer over the weekend.
