Art Barks & Purrs Arts and Crafts Festival

Saturday, June 21, 2014

I love dogs and I love to shed light on pet adoptions when I get the chance, especially since Marley was a rescue. Not quite from a shelter but a rescue none the less. So I was definitely excited to spend Saturday morning at the Cobb County Animal Control facility in Marietta for the Art Barks & Purrs Arts and Crafts Festival. The festival brought out roughly 30 artists and crafters, most of whom were pet oriented, in order to help bring a higher traffic flow into the facility to adopt. This weekend was the third annual event which keeps getting bigger every year.
