July 4, 2014 Marietta – Scout Masters Dan Bird (left) and Matt McNeil hold up an American flag as they march through Historic Marietta Square during the city’s Freedom Parade on Friday, July 4, 2014. The parade was part of Marietta’s Fourth in the Park celebration which included free live concerts, museum tours, an arts and crafts show, food, carnival games and a fireworks finale. The Marietta Freedom Parade included 110 entries, 2,000 participants and an estimated 30,000 spectators. JONATHAN PHILLIPS / SPECIAL
