To finish up the eight weeks of summe, I headed down to Mableton to check out the Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta’s Camp Timber Ridge. The camp is very unassuming from the outside almost seeming to be a part of a neighborhood. But once you go through the gate you are immediately transported into the deep woods with trails, cabins, tents, a lake, and all of the comforts of a overnight camp. There is a high ropes course, canoeing, archery, swimming, arts and crafts and all sorts of other activities to keep campers busy.
