I found myself in Athens on Tuesday afternoon. It has been a long time since I visited the Classic City and so I had some time to explore some of my old stomping grounds. I wound my way through the city and made my way to the rec fields where they meet Oconee Forest Park. Wooded walking trails stretch out from the trail head where people go to run, walk and bike. I spent over an hour hiking through the woods with nothing but a 50mm 1.4. The extremely small aperture makes for some very focused details and lately I haven’t used that lens enough. So I did a little mini study to get reacquainted.
