Jett Street

Tuesday, November 4, 2014

Tuesday morning I headed down to Atlanta. Near the Georgia Dome there is a neighborhood that volunteers and residents were cleaning up throughout the day. The apartment building had been overrun with drug dealers until a neighborhood group got the attention of the federal government to help shut the building down. While photographing the cleanup I strayed a little from where the action was happening because I noticed a few local residents hanging out on the streets corner. I wanted to share a few outtakes that don’t have anything to do with the story I helped work on but shows life in some of the lesser traveled neighborhoods that surround the city.
