After a very colorful morning at Atlanta Motor Speedway for The Color Run, I headed up to the Historic Fourth Ward Skate Park in Atlanta for the second annual Blue Moon Beltline Boil.
The smell of food wafted through the air as I walked into the park. Hundreds of people were already standing in line just after noon as chefs from 11 different restaurants hustled to fill sample bowls with piping hot and delicious looking low county food. There were gumbos and crawfish, corn on the cobb and much more as people made their way through each of the lines to find out which restaurant had the most cajun in their blood.
Beer and bloody marys were flowing as Rueben’s Bell took to the large stage to perform. The first of many to play that day, the band’s four members crooned and rocked as a wonderful backdrop to a beautiful day.
