The Painted Hills in Oregon are gorgeous. They are one of three units of the John Day Fossil Beds National Monument in the eastern part of the state. The hills really do look like a giant paint brush was used to layer different colors on them. I was hoping for a nice sunny day to really catch the colors but when on the road you get what you get!
