The Wire & Wood Songwriters Festival celebrates music and the people who create it. Alpharetta hosts the yearly event which brings songwriters and musicians from all over to the downtown area of the city to perform on three stages for two days. This year songwriters such as Parker Millsap, Tinsley Ellis, Edwin McCain, Smokin Novas, Randall Bramblett, Joe Crookston, Eliot Bronson and Kim Richey performed and that was just on Saturday. The festival gave music lovers a behind-the-scenes look at the stories that inspired their favorite country, rock, blues, Americana and bluegrass songs.
