Wednesday morning started with a trip to the Center for Civil and Human Rights in downtown Atlanta to witness a rare sighting. Current Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed and former mayor Shirley Franklin don’t share a lot of love for one another. They are almost never seen at the same time or in the same place so it was almost unheard of that the two would be sharing the same stage for a panel discussion on H.U.D. followed by a fireside chat of sorts with U.S. Housing and Urban Development Secretary Julian Castro.
