My first and only foray into Friday Night Lights this year happened when McEachern went head to head with Hillgrove for the Class AAAAAA regional championship. McEachern had the home field advantage and it seemed to help. Although the game was slow in the first quarter with both the Indians and the Hawks trying to find weaknesses in the other’s defense, McEachern started rolling. At halftime the Indians led 16-10 and they continued through the rest of the game allowing only one other touchdown while scoring another 21 points. McEachern defeated Hillgrove 37-17 to win the regional championships.
