Brian Baker held a press conference in front of the steps leading to the Cobb County Police Department Headquarters on Thursday. Surrounded by a small group of community leaders from different organizations, Baker spoke with reporters from television stations and newspapers about the incident that has thrust the teacher into the spotlight.

Brian Baker is the African American motorist who was pulled over in Cobb County and told by an officer “I don’t care about your people” a few weeks ago. The exchange between him and Officer Maurice Lawson was caught on the officer’s dash cam.
