I’ve spent the past few weeks doing some work in Denver, Colorado and I finally had a moment to catch my breath and explore a little bit of the front range of the Rocky Mountains. Spring is such a funny time for the area. One day 70 degrees and sunny the very next there could be four feet of snow dumped on the ground.
I found myself at Lair O’ the Bear Park on Saturday, part of the Denver Mountain Park system and the Jefferson County Open Space. This amazing place is just west of Ideldale and near Morrison and Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Bear Creek runs through this amazing place and it was filled with hikers, dogs, fishermen and others who had the same idea to get outside on a beautiful day.
