Lawrenceville Bed Races

On April 16, 2011 thirteen teams came together for the 2nd annual Bed Races to help raise funds for Family Promise of Gwinnett County. The goal of the non-profit is to help end homelessness for children and their families in the county and the races through the square in Lawrenceville raised close to $10,000 to help their cause. The idea is simple: form a five person team, take a bed, slap some wheels on it, get dressed up and run like crazy. I photographed the event for the Gwinnett Daily Post and here are some of my favorite images.
