Alpharetta vs Duluth Baseball

I photographed game three of the Alpharetta – Duluth Class AAAAA state baseball playoffs for two Patch newspapers on Thursday May 12, 2011. This was Duluth’s first playoff appearance since 1997. The Wildcats and the Raiders battled back and forth scoring two runs each through the first four innings. Duluth went up by one in the sixth but Alpharetta answered in the bottom of the inning landing 4 runs which secured their 6-3 win advancing them to the next round. These are my favorite image from the game.
