I photographed game three of Georgia Tech’s match up against North Carolina at Russ Chandler Stadium on Sunday May 15, 2011. The Yellow Jackets and the Tar Heels played evenly until the bottom of the fifth inning when freshman Kyle Wren doubled to center field allowing catcher Zane Evans to score. The run was followed by two more RBI singles by junior Jacob Esch and freshman Mott Hyde later in the inning. The Tar Heels couldn’t answer, mostly due to sophomore pitcher Buck Farmer who threw for eight innings allowing only four hits. The game gave Tech head coach Danny Hall his 300th ACC-career win.
