I photographed filming for AMC’s second season of “The Walking Dead” on Riverwood Parkway in the Cumberland area of Atlanta for the Smyrna-Vinings Patch on Monday June 13, 2011. The second season of the zombie apocalyptic series started filming recently in the Atlanta area starting where the first season ended with the group of survivors leaving the CDC. It was unfortunately a closed set so there was limited access but these are my favorite images from a half a day of shooting.
