I photographed the Atlanta Pride parade through downtown on Sunday, October 9, 2011. The parade included hundreds of participants and tens of thousands of people came out to watch for the 41st annual event. Coinciding with National Coming Out Day, the two day event is the largest of its kind in the southeast. These are my favorite images from the parade.
