I photographed the Alcove Coffeehouse in Lilburn for the Lilburn Patch newspaper on Wednesday, December 21, 2011. Alcove is nestled by Lake Lucerne in the shadow of Stone Mountain off of Stone Mountain Hwy. The independently owned coffee shop serves what you expect, fresh coffee, espressos and lattes as well as freshly baked pastries, sandwiches, salads, snacks and fruit smoothies.
