Spruill Center for the Arts Summer Camp

I photographed the Spruill Center for the Arts Summer Camp in Dunwoody for a Three of a Kind photo feature for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution on Thursday, June 7, 2012. Camp, which has been occurring each summer for over 20 years, started May 21 and runs weekly through August 10. Campers ages five to 14 decide whether they want to create art, make jewelry or learn performance based art. Established in 1975, The Spruill Center for the Arts in Dunwoody is a private, non-profit organization, whose mission is to foster understanding and appreciation of the visual and performing arts, by offering an extensive and diverse program of classes, a professional artist exhibition series and outreach programs for seniors, youth and audiences with special needs.
