I photographed volunteers, including the residents of Trinity House/Big Bethel, as they prepared a meal for over 300 homeless men, women and children at the Trinity United Methodist Church in Atlanta for a Three of a Kind photo feature for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution on Sunday, July 1, 2012. Trinity House/Big Bethel is a residential transitional program designed to serve homeless men with issues regarding drug dependency. Since its inception, the program has helped over 1,000 men find permanent housing and employment. The program is part of the bigger Trinity Community Ministries which formed in 1981. The weekly soup kitchen has fed thousands of homeless over the years.
