For the past 53 years the Atlanta Ballet performs the Nutcracker at the Fox Theatre in downtown Atlanta. Thursday was the final dress rehearsal before the opening of the show on Friday, which also marked the company’s first show of the 2012-13 season. This year 75 dancers played their parts well and if the dress rehearsal signifies anything, this year The Nutcracker will delight the young and the young at heart.
