Once a year the employees at Champ’s Clock Shop in Douglasville, Georgia spend a whole week adjusting, winding and setting the hundreds of clocks inside the store to chime at the same time for a single day so that friends, family, customers and curious onlookers can experience the different sounds and chimes. This is the fifth year that the store has put on the event which has gained local notoriety. Champ’s carries cuckoo clocks, grandfather and grandmother clocks, wall clocks, quartz clocks and pretty much any other clock that can be put into a home.
