You can’t even hear the engines from the road as you travel up Morrison Parkway in Alpharetta. Tucked away near the woods lies the Motorcycle Safety Foundation’s training facility where riders of all ages can come and learn the proper ways to ride street and dirt bikes as well as ATVs. I was lucky enough to be invited to take photos of one of the classes as they went through all of the different rules, regulations and riding conditions that comes with owning a dirt bike. About the size of a football field, the track was well worn as the class had been going since 8 a.m. Cones, obstacles and a big hill were the first things to jump out at me as riders headed back to their bikes after a short lunch. Soon enough the distinct sound of the bikes started as five students were taught different maneuvers and safety techniques by a slew of instructors.
