October has made it to Atlanta and with it all things Halloween. Residents start stocking up on candy, getting costumes together, planning parties and picking out the perfect pumpkin to carve. The city is renowned for its ghoulish side as well. You have plenty of opportunities to get lost in fields of corn or be scared out of your skin at one of the many haunted houses in the metro area. Today I am featuring one activity to get your heart pumping, your brain thinking and your spirit ready for All Hallow’s Eve. Netherworld Haunted House in Norcross is in its 17th year of operation. Starting as a small haunt with a vision, the creators have expanded over the years to encompass a small shopping mall. This year the two houses are entitled “The Dead Ones” and “Boogeyman”. Even if you have been brave enough to enter the house in years past, each Halloween season the setup, characters and themes change to give new sights, sounds and spooks to scare you towards the exit in a hurried fashion.
