The regular high school football season over and playoffs have begun. The first round found the Collins Hill Eagles pitted against the Walton Raiders in a Class AAAAAA match up. Before the game started the skies opened and rain started to pour as the whistle blew to start the first quarter. For the first part of the quarter it seemed that the Eagles and the Raiders were evenly matched. Both teams defenses were putting in work that is until Collins Hill’s Tyler Henderson got the ball. By halftime the Eagles were up 28-0 over the Raiders. The second half of the game just widened the deficit. Collins Hill defeated Walton 41-7 allowing the Eagles to advance to the next round.
