Who doesn’t love chocolate? I know I do and even though it has been removed from my diet for the past almost year I can still taste it when I think hard enough. Since Valentine’s Day was this past Friday, I worked on a photo feature for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and there are a few certain things that come to mind when you think of one of the most romantic days of the year. Flowers and, yep, you guessed it, chocolates. Chamberlain’s Chocolate Factory is nestled off of Spalding Drive in what was part of Norcross and now Peachtree Corners. I walked in the door and met Anne and Linda who were just as nice as could be. Anne Stroer, who has owned the chocolatier shop for close to 10 of the past almost 30 years that it has been open, charismatically talked about the different hand made and hand rolled truffles that she has come up with and brought that same energy to the customers that walked through her door for the time that I was there taking photos. I went almost mad at the fact that I couldn’t taste any of the heavenly smells that seemed to permeate the clothes I was wearing. I swear I smelled chocolate for hours after I left her shop.
