Montgomery Rice is the dean and executive vice president of the school. According to a recent Nurses’ Healthy Study, people with large waists may be at higher risk for heart disease and other illnesses. After 16 years, women who reported waist sizes of 35 inches or higher had nearly double the risk of dying from heart disease, compared to women whose waist was less than 28 inches.
