Murphey Candler Park is in between quiet neighborhoods nestled in the Brookhaven area. The 135 acre park has wooded walking trails which make for a great place to walk your four legged friends. There are also plenty of multi-use fields, tennis courts, a swimming pool, a playground, picnic areas and a lake. During the fall and spring, youth sports are offered through baseball, softball, and football programs that operate on the property. The youth league sports fields have however been kept separate from the, what I would call, recreation portion of the property so you don’t have to worry about getting hit with a fly ball or run over by a little tyke in pads while trying to enjoy your day out in the sunshine.
