Hundreds of people came out to the Buckhead Theatre in Atlanta to raise money for a worthy and noble cause Thursday evening. Covenant House of Georgia helps care for, teach, train, feed and clothe homeless teenagers from the Atlanta area. In other words they help give second chances to some of the homeless youth that can be found around the city. A Night of Broadway Stars helped raise close to $400,000 in a night full of celebration, food, music, laughter and some tears. Broadway stars such as Rita Harvey, Richard Todd Adams, Capathia Jenkins, and Danny Zolli filled the theater with the sounds of music as they and others belted out tunes throughout the evening, entertaining the crowd that sat in rapture for the three or so hour concert. It was an amazing evening and I feel so lucky to be a small part of a worthy cause.
