Friday was so much fun. I love music and I love music festivals. It’s a great time to meet new people and share in the love of sound. I got to head down to Atlantic Station in downtown Atlanta for the Shaky Knees Music Festival. The three day concert included performances by the Foals, Spoon, Cage the Elephant, The National, Modest Mouse, the Violent Femmes, The Replacements, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, one of my personal favorites Dropkick Murphys and so many more. Thousands and thousands of people braved the rain to watch their favorite bands play on four stages. Although not all of these bands played Friday the lineup was awesome! I’m hoping to go back today so cross your fingers for me!
