Fall is right around the corner and with fall comes the last part of the art festival circuit. Each weekend for the next two months artists will flock all around Atlanta to try and sell their creative wares. Pottery, paintings, photographs, glass objects, metal, jewelry, clothing and other mediums will adorn white tents all over the city. The Atlanta Arts Festival, now in its eighth year, definitely draws a crowd to Piedmont Park. The tree shaded walkways were packed with people checking out their favorite artists. This festival in particular stands out to me because not only do you have all of the normal festival activities but there are also cooking demonstrations and tastings by local chefs as well as art classes on site using different mediums.
