Tuesday morning started with a trip over to Marietta to visit with Haroon Alam and Sanket Mehta, two students at Walton High School who scored perfect 2400s on their SATs. Both students were well mannered and a little quiet as I took pictures of them during classes. They were modest in their accomplishments and a little embarrassed as teachers announced what they had done to their fellow students as they explained why I was intruding in their learning experience that morning. I personally scored better on my ACTs while in high school and remember that staring down either test while in grade school was a scary prospect. Hopefully these two bright young gentlemen will put their smarts to good use in the coming years!
