Wednesday morning started with another trip over to Marietta, this time to see United States senators Johnny Isakson and John McCain endorse candidate David Perdue at VFW Post 2681 in front of supporters and friends. I’ve never been that big into politics but I will say I have on occasion been able to witness political figures up close and this venue lent itself to being very personal. After an hour or so of speeches to veterans and their families, the trio moved to a back room for a press conference with members of the media only.
